Odd, strange, eccentric, freaky, unusual — these are subjects I consider to be “Out of the Norm” and yes, my name is Norm.
As a street photographer, I look for people who defy convention – and draw attention to themselves. A guy perched on top of George Washington's head, a side show performer sticking a screwdriver up his nose, provocative gestures... all implying, “look at me, look at me, you can’t ignore me now.” Like the passing car with windows wide open and its stereo going full blast…loudly announcing “I’m here!”
Well, I’m here — here to capture what’s “Out of the Norm” because it’s the way I see and it’s what I want others to see and remember.
